- He was trained by Prof.K.Srinivasan, a pioneer stroke Neurologist in India. His main interest is stroke care and other complications related to stroke. He has a rich experience of 33 years in stroke neurology and related other neurological disorders. Other area of special interest is epilepsy and organizing special epilepsy care for the needy.
- He is life a member of Indian Academy of Neurology and Neurological Society of India. He is a full member of American Academy of Neurology and European academy of Neurology. Presented scientific papers in various National and International conferences.
- He started department of Neurology at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital in the year 1989. He has seen more than 1.5 lakh patients at the hospital.
